Sweet and Special Avery!

Avery earns "Shambucks" at school for doing good deeds, being kind, etc. And then she can cash them in each month for prizes or special coupons. This last month she bought lunch with her teacher and they have had it yesterday and this was the email I got. MELTING!

Cincinnati Weekend

The Bolton's (minus Hannah) invited us to Cincinnati for the weekend where Jordan was coaching a Moot Court tournament. It was a quick 2 hour drive for us so we were happy to join. We spent Saturday visiting all the museums - Avery and Hung started with the Underground Railroad Museum which was her top choice. She loved learning the history and then they took a ride on the Ferris Wheel. Cincinnati had a 4 in 1 museum in this very cool train station - We spent lots of time doing experiments in the Natural History Museum and playing around in all the cool areas of the Kids Museum. Avery really loved the VR ride and Tay loved the STEM area but the cave freaked him out a little.

We had some great meals, lots of Graeter's Ice Cream and tons of pool time for the kids. It was a wonderful weekend getaway with our friends who are like family. Ella always says we are "technically family".

On Sunday we got home and had dinner with G, Uncle Cullen and Aunt KJ at Sun King and it was so warm the kids got to play outside some!

Koteewi Runs

We discovered Koteewi Runs in Noblesville last weekend and we all had a blast. It was perfect winter weather and the runs were really fun!! We did some runs as a big group and also took turns going with each kid - Tay preferred to take the pulley up and Avery wanted to walk so she could get to the top faster. We took a Hot Chocolate break by the fire and really enjoyed our time there. The Donnellsons and Silcocks joined us, too so we had some buddies to tube with. We found a really good BBQ place in Cicero afterwards as we were all starving and exhausted after being outside all day. We will definitely go back!!

Also, still SO hard to get Tay to look normal in front of a camera :)
