Mother Son Dance

Westfield hosted a Mother/Son Dance at the Bridgewater Club. Tay REFUSED to smile or take a nice picture with me before we left (he told me that he can only take happy pictures on HIS iPad). Tay and I went with a group of neighbors and he was the perfect age for it. After dinner at Red Robin (where Tay loved finding all the hidden pictures on the kids menu) we went to the Dance. He finally smiled for a professional photo with me, made a cool SuperHero mask that he proudly wore, took a group photo shoot and DANCED. He requested Beat It and really got down to that one and then also requested Another One Bites the Dust. The DJ didn't play that last one and Tay went up at the end and told him he was really upset that he didn't get his request. He was also star struck by the Batman who was there and wanted his autograph. After the rough start of refusing to take a pic, it ended up being a sweet night together!

Visit with Grandpa

My Dad came for a long visit and the kids LOVED having him around!! In addition to the Halloween festivities, we also had a great day at Conner Prairie before the outdoor areas close for the season.
