- Hung and I had fun at the adult neighborhood party. My bloody brain cupcakes won best dessert and Michigan beat Notre Dame. A good night!
- Tay, Avery and I went to Trunk or Treat for Tay's school with Jaime, Brooke and Zach. It was a gorgeous day and the kids had fun. We missed Avery's since she had strep so was happy she was healthy for Tay's!
- We carved Pumpkins with Grandpa just in time for Halloween
- Tay got strep on Halloween but still made it out for some Trick or Treating with Hung and Grandpa. Avery braved the snow and wind and covered the whole neighborhood with friends. We ended the night at the Donnellson's where the kids played in the basement and ate candy and the adults were able to relax and visit some. G and Aunt KJ watched Tay so the rest of us could head to the party. A busy and happy night despite non-ideal conditions!

Halloween Festivities 2019
Avery Play
Avery has been in an introduction to Acting class the last 8 weeks and they had their final performance this week. She was Cathy the Cowgirl from Texas and had a horse name Buttercup. It was such a cute play that the kids put together - she is already signed up for next session!

Avery takes on NYC
Avery and I had a girls trip to NYC to see Debbie's new show The Wrong Man. We truly had the BEST time!! Nate and Lulu picked us up from the airport early Thursday morning (we had about 3 hours of sleep but we made it work!). After a nap we explored Central Park where we saw some street performers who started out strong and then dragged things on too long so we got bored - the became running joke number one :) We also rented a rowboat and Nate took us around the pond. We needed to meet Debbie for dinner at Momofuko (AMAZING food) and it was a long walk so we thought a bicycle taxi would be fun. We didn't check the price beforehand and it ended up costing $84 for a 12 minute bike ride. It pained Nate and I to pay this and became the 2nd running joke the rest of the trip. After an amazing dinner we saw Debbie's even MORE amazing show. I can't say enough how GOOD it is! And we felt special going backstage afterwards to meet the whole cast :)
On Friday, Nate took us to a sculpture park in queens. Then we took the Ferry from Queens down to the Financial District and Nate gave us lots of good info about the city. We then went to see the Statue of Liberty - it was crowded but we loved it. Nate and Avery were two goofballs that just made us laugh the whole day with tons of silly jokes. One was "I'm Nate, I'm stupid. SHUT UP". So that became our third running joke....We laughed a lot! After the Statue of Liberty, we saw the famous Bull on Wall Street and got Milk cookies and ice cream - Sooo good! We had another amazing dinner and then got to see Debbie as the lead. She KILLED it and I loved the show even more the 2nd time. Avery crashed in the Lyft ride home - A long but amazing day!
On Saturday, Grandma T and Grandpa arrived. We had a great brunch before Debbie had to head to the theater. Then we went to Rockefeller Center and Avery got a new Build A Bear from FAO Schwartz and we also went to the American Girl Doll store. We sadly had to head home in the afternoon but some great memories were made with me and my awesome girl!! And we are SO proud of Aunt Debbie - Her show is special!
