Last Leland Weekend

We had such a great last weekend in Leland. Friday we had dinner at the Bluebird and then walked the rocks with Jenny, Reese and Peter. We had never done that before and it was very cool and the views were gorgeous.

 We found the missing Lanyard!!

On Saturday, we had brunch at Martha's and visited Sally. We then headed to Glen Arbor to visit Lisa and Clara. The kids had SO much fun together - They played in the bunk room, enjoyed the park, decorated cookies and ended the night with story time and lots of giggles. Lisa and I also had a few drinks and had time to catch up!

On Sunday, we started the day with a boat ride - the kids could have jumped off the boat the entire day. We had lunch at Lisa's and then walked around Glen Arbor and found all the "Where's Waldos" (along with some ice cream). We spent the rest of the afternoon at Van's Beach with G and Papa. Truly a perfect weekend!!

They were doing all sorts of poses and LOVED jumping off the boat

Leland 2019

The first week in Leland was truly perfect! We started our Leland Vacation with the annual St. Mary's Chicken Dinner and Van's Beach. Hung and Du were with us for the first couple days and we had the Lawrence's with us all week. Ashley also came for the latter part of the week. We painted pottery and explored TC one day, then headed to Sutton's Bay for an awesome beach day along with dinner and s'mores at Hop Lot. We finally made it to Little Fleet for lunch in TC followed by Cherry Picking and Chocolate making class for the kids in Empire which was really cool. We also had lots of fun downtime at the cottage including dinner with Lori Lutz. Avery created a salon on the front porch where she became a hairstylist names Lisa who lives in San Francisco and has a daughter named Isabella. Taylor created a Pet Store and called himself Coach. They made "Open" and "Closed" signs and took the whole thing very seriously. They have also been into singing "Old Town" road and making up dances to it.

And when Tay gets mad he says "NEVER EVER" but pronounces it "NEVOUR EVOUR" I love it!

PTO is now over for me and I am working from Leland for the next 2 weeks. Avery is at Shady Trails Camp this week with her friend Reese and Tay is going to "Camp G"!! I am so grateful to my mom for playing with the kids so they can extend their Leland Summer and I can get back into the swing of work. We are lucky to have the most amazing G in the world!!

Sutton's Bay beach on my last day of PTO - We built an awesome sand castle/moat and Avery and Ash swam out deep and found some treasure! It was a gorgeous Sunday and we ended it with dinner at the Tavern and ice cream at Harbor House.
