League Champions!

Avery's Team won the championship game on Friday night - They got to play at Westfield HS and won by 1 run - It was a nail biter and I was my usual psycho, competitive self in the stands :) Ashley, G and Brooklyn were also able to make the game to cheer on the Purple Fighting Unicorns! Avery's team was full of sweet and funny girls and a great group of parents. Such a fun season with a perfect ending.

We celebrated with a team trip to Dairy Queen, some flossing and a Brooklyn Sleepover. Great way to start the weekend!!

 

 

Ready for Summer

This past weekend Tay had his last day of school (on Friday), we got our Patio Finished, swam at our neighborhood pool, Avery had a sleepover with Lila and the kids got to play in the Splash Pad at West Park. Bring on Summer!!

Fun Times at West Park - Not sure why Tay has one shoe. But the kids played together for almost 2 hours at the park. I LOVE when they are buddies!

On To The Championship For The Fighting Purple Unicorns!!

Avery's Softball Team won the semi-final game tonight in their league and will play for the Championship on Friday night under the lights at Westfield HS. Avery had an awesome hit and her team came back after being down 2 runs in the last inning to go into extra innings. The first extra inning no one scored. The second one we held them to no runs and then Rosie hit a home run to win the game. It was SO exciting!! We were all nervous and going crazy. Her team is such a sweet and fun group of girls and it's been a great experience for Avery's first true team sport. The winning has been a bonus.

After the game, our sponsor took us all out for Dairy Queen. The girls danced around doing their silly chants. What a fun night for all of us :)
