Fun Weekend with Grandpa

Grandpa came to visit last weekend and we had such a blast! We went to the Spring Spectacular at Avery's School where we won a raffle basket (It was like she was called up on the Price is Right!).  The craft basket we won kept the kids and neighbor friends busy all weekend :) Tay had fun on the bounce houses with his buddies. On Saturday we went to see Elephant and Piggie and then enjoyed the great weather but practicing some Softball - Grandpa was an awesome coach for Avery! We had a steak and crab legs dinner and watched Michigan make it to the Sweet 16! Perfect weekend!

On Sunday, Tay and I went to a birthday party at Monkey Joe's and then snuggled on the couch as we were worn out!

Catching Leprechauns

Avery worked SO hard on building a Leprechaun trap - Amazingly one actually came and left her a note but he was able to escape :) Then Tay also decided to build one - So sweet and cute and creative!

STEM Night

Avery's school hosted a really cool STEM night - There were tons of experiments and science activities. They also brought in some llama's and had a Silly Safari Show. Avery was called up to help hold a giant snake and was so thrilled to be picked! 

Cat in the Hat

We went to Beef and Boards with Lila and Lena to see The Cat in the Hat. It was such a cute production - Tay was riveted!! And the 4 kiddos love each other so much and had a blast hanging out!

After throwing a bit of a tantrum, Avery wrote this note to Hung to make up :)

Donuts with UNCLE

Avery came home with an invitation for Donuts with Dad at her school. It happened to be the Friday that Hung was out of town. Avery was SO upset - crying and even ripped up the invitation. Then Uncle Cullen came to the rescue!! Avery patched up the invitation and happily went with Cullen.
