Thanksgiving 2018

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday. I was able to go on Tuesday and serve a Thanksgiving Meal to Tay's class - It was really cute to see him with his class mates and in his school environment.

We hosted Thanksgiving dinner and had almost 20 people here! Lai Ma and Uncle Du stayed with us for the weekend and we were also joined by G, Papa, Grammy, Morrison/Popovich crew and the Armato crew. G outdid herself with the cooking and decorations. The food was amazing and the company was even better. The kids had a blast playing in the basement all evening and put on a "show" for us after dinner. It was just a great day!!

We bowled with Uncle Du on Friday, watched Michigan get clobbered (cry) on Saturday and then watched UHS Boy win (with Brooklyn and Braden), and decorated for Christmas on Sunday.  Our old tree finally gave out so we bought a new one and I LOVE it. Let the Christmas season officially begin!

Avery's First Michigan Game

Avery got to her experience her first game at the Big House! We started the weekend hanging with Devyn and Carolyn at Weber's - Avery has been begging me for cousin time since our family reunion last summer so I was happy they were free to meet up Friday. The girls swam for 5!!! hours and had a blast.

On Saturday we had brunch at Zingerman's Roadhouse and then headed to the stadium. Our seats were perfect on the 50 yard line. Besides spilling a drink all over herself and G having to get her new pants it went well. We were able to get up on the Big Screen 2 times by tweeting out pics which Avery loved. I tried to explain football to her - not sure it sunk in but she made it through the game, enjoyed the bands, sights and sounds and we saw a Michigan Win. Overall a success!! We got in some more pool time, a trip to the Hands On Museum and Olga's before heading back to Indy. It was a trip planned pretty last minute but we all had a great time!!

All The Halloween 2018

It was a fun and busy Halloween season! We started with Trunk or Treat at Shamrock Springs which was a really cute event. Holly and I had a "trunk" and Hung took the kids around to all of the activities. Tay LOVED being a Ninja and pretty much spent the night keeping track of all of his "weapons". Avery killed it as a Zombie Bride!

We then had a family Halloween Party at Gwen and Kevan's and then Hung and I went to the adult Halloween Party in our neighborhood which was a blast! On Sunday, Ash and I took the kids to ZooBoo.

And we ended with the ACTUAL Halloween. I feel like when I was a kid we just trick or treated and now it's a whole week of celebrating :) The kids loved it all! And they were cutest Ninja and Zombie Bride I ever did see!!
