- We took Avery and Taylor to a peace rally at a local synagogue that was vandalized. The next day at the library he was telling everyone "Nazi's are bad".
- One night I found Tay wandering around upstairs around 2:30 am. In the morning Hung asked why I had put Bingo in his crate in our bedroom - I said I hadn't. COme to find, Tay locked Bingo in the crate somehow without waking us and we have no idea he had did it. When we asked in the morning he goes "Oh yeah. I locked up Bingo." Cracked us up!
- He did switch to a full size bed after Leland - He likes having all the space and rolls around like a wildman every night! He also likes to push the blinds up and bring books into bed after we leave him.
- We have officially potty trained!! We started out setting a timer every 30 minutes. There were a few accidents and one poopy mess but it's been pretty smooth since week 1. He always goes on his own when he needs to poop and doesn't have accidents as long as we remind him every 1-2 hours to go. It's been exciting to watch him figure it out and he has a super cute tushy in is colorful undies!
- He has been very into saying "NO WAY" or "That Not Nice".
- He says his name is Hopkins Trieu Tay which sounds like "Hockey Tru Tay"
- Tay was trying to understand that big sister means that Avery is older than him so then he called me "Big Momma."
- He is very into Super Heroes - Playing Batman and Spiderman and walking around in his costumes. Also loves to play Hot Lava. His imagination has really taken off and he loves to play pretend with his action figures and in costumes. He also loves Power Rangers and fighting which sounds like "Shiting" and being on "teams."
- He gets really upset when told no - Will cross his arms, pout, turn his back and say angrily "you told me NO" with a furrowed brow. And then wants you to apologize to him for telling you know.
- If Tay gets really upset he wants you to "Calm me down" which means helping him take deep breaths.
- He is doing amazing with using the potty and starting school full time - I have been SO impressed with how he has handled these big changes. His teacher told me announces that he took a REALLY BIG POOP sometimes.
- He says bis best friend "Best Shend" at school is Sebastian.
- Tay and Bingo are really close - Love to snuggle and I think Tay is his 2nd favorite after Hung. Sometimes Bingo gets really excited when Tay runs and will knock him down which makes Tay mad and he'll say "BINGO you are NOT my Best Shend".
- Tay is full of energy and love and is a total chatter box - Love him to pieces and couldn't ask for anything more!!
- At his 3 year check up he is still at the 50th for weight (32 lbs) and 60th for height.
- I feel like there are cute new things everyday so will capture them when I can :)
