Happy Thanksgiving 2017

We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving with Family and Friends. We had G, Papa, Grammy, Cullen, KJ, Lai-Ma, Ye-Ye, and Du (and Otis) as well as the Morrison and Armado crews. It was fun to host in our new house! There was WAY too much wonderful food (both Asian and America) as usual and the kids had a blast playing late into the evening. They ended with a Dance recital for all of us. My heart was full with love for everyone we got to spend the holiday with.

One funny Avery story - Ashley was teaching her about how the Pilgrims killed the Indians and took over their land. She says to Hung "Daddy, you are lucky that you are a Chinaman because you didn't kill and indians. And I am only half white so I didn't kill of them. But it's not good for mama who is all white." LOL.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Daisy Investiture

Avery decided to try out Daisies this year and so far she is really enjoying it. They spend lots of time outside and making crafts. It has also given her a chance to meet girls in other classes at her school. They had their official investiture the other week. Avery was excited to get her vest and is looking forward to their December events (Gingerbread House making and Caroling!).

Happy Halloween 2017!

We had a fun first Halloween in our new neighborhood. The streets were filled with kids running all around. Avery started out trick-or-treating with me and then met up with Austyn and I didn't see her most of the night after that :) G passed out candy while Hung and I wandered around with the kids.

Tay napped late and was a bit irritated when he got up. But after he got dressed and moving he really took to trick-or-treating. He would say his version of "treat treat" and hold his bucket out. I was cold and ready to be done after a while but he knew we had not hit all the houses and led me around to make sure we hit them all on the walk home.

We had dinner and lots of candy after the kids were done. Then KJ came over and helped get us through the sugar high.

Love my little Spiderman and Vampire!
