What Tay is up to at 15 months:
- 2 more lower teeth have popped through and we are up to 12 - and approaching 16.
- We still nurse before bed and first thing in the morning. He will sometimes pull at my shirt to nurse and if i ask if he wants to he smiles and gets excited. And he drinks frozen breast milk during the day and just about any food we give him. Sometimes he has a huge appetite and other times he just wants to play with it. And he frequently leads us to the pantry and points at snacks that he wants. He also likes drinking water out of a real cup - spills some but insist upon it at times because that's what Avery uses (who he idolizes)
- One favorite activity this month has been sitting in Avery's room and playing with her markers - loves to just put caps on and off and sit in her little rocking chair. He would do it for hours....He has some pretty darn good fine motor skills.
- Still loves walking around with his golf club and throwing any sort of ball he can find.
- Tay "Talks" all the time but real words are still hard to come by and not consistent. He will typically repeat you, or attempt to.
- He loves to dance - whenever he hears music he gets down! And also loves clapping - especially at basketball games.
- Tay also likes playing with instruments - especially his xylophone.
- He continues to understand more and more of what we tell him and can follow instructions.
- Tay is getting better at just sitting and playing by himself. You can get out a bin of toys and he'll pull things out and entertain himself.
- He has the cutest wave - he puts his arm straight up above his head and waves up and down.
- One random thing is he loves to sit in kid chairs - any small chair he can find he backs himself into and plops down. Or if something sort of looks like a chair, he backs into it to sit on. Other random things: loves to give and get tickles, "talk" on the phone, get himself into small spaces, and wants whatever Avery has - we are forever trying to find something he will think is cool when he can't have what Avery has (or else he loses his mind).
- When he is shy or mad he will shrug up his shoulders, turn his head and give you a really mean looking face.
- He is starting to get some more sass in him! Little personality is getting stronger and louder :)
This really captures the mood during pictures - instruments calmed him
