We stayed with Rebecca, Jordan, Hannah and Ella who were amazing hosts. On Friday we had brunch with Lori Lutz. Avery decided she did not need a nap afterwards and would rather play with Hannah so the girls baked brownies while Ella slept. After nap we took the girls to gymnastics open gym and Avery really loved wearing Hannah's leotard (as well as wearing Hannah's pajamas at night!). We then went out for dinner and the girls decorated Easter Buckets. The girls took a bath after dinner - Ella offered to wash Avery in some of her private parts which cracked Rebecca and me up!
On Saturday, Avery and I went to visit my friend Beth and got to see her new house and go out for lunch which was fun. Avery and I both got a nap after lunch and then that evening I went to the Inaugural Mariann Hoag Scholarship dinner at Roeper while Avery, Hannah and Ella had a babysitter. She was amazing and managed to keep all three girls happy and get them to bed at a decent time. I had a wonderful night at the event with my mom, Chuck, Rebecca, Jordan, Carolyn and Sally Booth (among others). The night concluded with dinner at Lori Lutz's house - she went ALL OUT and we have such a great time.
On Sunday, Rebecca made a fantastic brunch - Linde was able to come so I loved being able to see her for a bit. And the girls used their buckets they had decorated and had an Easter Egg Hunt. Avery really dug into the jelly beans :) We had a pretty easy drive back to Indy and were so excited to see Hung when he arrived home from Indy.
The only sad parts were Michigan losing by 3 to Kentucky in the Elite 8 and saying goodbye to my Michigan friends. I miss them already and wished we lived closer and could see them more.
Thanks to Rebecca for all the AMAZING Pictures :)
