We arrived in Indianapolis about a week ago - It was hard leaving our friends and family in Chicago but we were also excited and ready for the new adventure. We were greeted in Indy with open arms by Mom, Chuck Cullen who spent the 1st week helping us unpack, organize and bringing us dinner every night. And Dad, Teri and Du came the first weekend to help us get even more settled. I am AMAZED at how much we accomplished and we could not have done it without the help of our family!! While we are still missing a few things (like a kitchen table which we did not have room for in Chicago), we are pretty well settled. There are about 4 unpacked boxes and some pictures that need to be hung but master bedroom, home offices, guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and garage are pretty much settled. And most importantly, Avery's room is ready, all of her equipment (and there is a lot of it) has been assembled and clothes have been washed in Dreft and folded. I cannot thank our families enough for all the help and support they have given us - I am a lot slower and more tired now that I am in the 9th month and we could not have gotten this all done without our family. Not to mention Hung who works all day and then does house projects past midnight every evening (right now he's installing a new shower head). I feel very lucky and can't wait for Avery to get here to meet her incredible family.....3 weeks to go.
Below are some pictures of the nursery - I tried to get all the angles and details so you can get the idea of how it looks. We have a couple more pictures to hang but her room is 99% ready - now we just need the actual baby!
